Mortgage Appeal

“He has made known to us the mystery of his will…as a plan for the fullness of times, to sum up all things in Christ, in heaven and on earth.” Eph.1:9 -10

Dear Friends,

God continues to bless us tremendously and for this we are grateful. It is hard to imagine that over four years have passed since the opening of our new House of Prayer. Thousands have passed through the doors of our new church. God’s grace has been poured out through many selfless hands sharing God’s love and reaching out. In order to continue Christ’s mission we must reduce our debt and reduce our interest in a more rapid manner. We are privileged to formally invite you to make your sacrificial pledge or one-time gift to our continuing mortgage appeal. This will be a TWO year commitment. The goal of the campaign is to raise $1.2 million in pledges over the next 24 months. $600,000 the amount we collected during the year of 2008; thus, 1.2 million is a very achievable number. Last year we paid over $160,000 in interest on our loan, and less than that on our principal. At the current rate of restricted income, we will be paying towards our debt for 17-20 years. Our goal is to shorten the length of the loan to under 13 years. In order for this to happen, we need you. The United States Bishops tell us that: “The Church is built up through personal participation in and support of the Church’s mission of proclaiming, teaching, serving and sanctifying”. Your sacrificial gift over these next two years will allow us to teach and serve in a more deliberate manner.

For these next two years please consider a pledge of $100 per month or an increase of 20% over your last pledge. Complete the pledge card and return it along with your initial gift in the envelope. Both are linked on this page.

Please prayerfully consider your gift and be assured that whatever your gift may be, it will be gratefully received and acknowledged.

“For no one can lay a foundation other than the one that is there, namely, Jesus Christ.” 1 Cor. 3:11

Your servant in Christ
